Apple-grower Timothy Cox seeks to win the hand of Mary, against her Uncle's wishes, by beating Pierre of Bordeaux in an archery contest. Hopeless with the longbow, Robin lends a hand by teaching Timothy Cox to shoot an arrow well enough to win the lovely young woman as his bride.
